:Lawyers continuing their weekly protest will stage protest rallies and will observe complete boycott of court proceedings across the country on Thursday.
Meanwhile heavy contingent of the rangers and police has been deployed at Jinnah Avenue and Shahr-e-Dastoor in federal capital ahead of lawyers’ protests.
Some lawyers were also not allowed to go forward because of the barricades and hurdles created on all the links roads of the Supreme Court. Lawyers and members of civil society scuffled with police after which four persons were arrested.
Besides, two groups of lawyers clashed each other in Multan. The protesting lawyers chanted anti-government and pro-chief justice slogans.
Similarly, boycott is being observed in Karachi and other parts of the country.
