Zardari addresses the nation


President Asif Ali Zardari in a televised address to the nation late on Saturday, after a shameless suicide attack on the Marriott Hotel in Islamabad

He said “terrorism is a cancer and we are determined to eliminate it."

Zardari said "Terrorism is a cancer in Pakistan, we are determined, God willing, we will rid the country of this cancer,".

"We will not be deterred by these cowards, Pakistanis are brave and fearless people, they are not afraid of death."

He said most of the victims are security personnel, government will look after their families.

He further said we will not rest until we get rid off terrorism. This matter will not be dumped till it is over.

Zardari invited all political parties to come and joint him against terrorism.
