The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced the timetable for the by-election of PF-51 Haripur-III. The NWFP assembly seat fell vacant following the murder of ANP’s MPA and former provincial minister Akhtar Nawaz Khan on September 10.
According to an official notification issued by the ECP on Friday, nomination papers can be obtained from the office of RO Additional District Judge Haripur Muhammad Arshad Khan, from September 22 to 27. The nomination papers could be filed during September 29 to 30, the sources said. The objection would be filed and accepted till October 6.
While, October 13 was fixed for withdrawal of nomination papers. The final list of the candidates would be displayed on September 14. Polling would be held on November 5.
