US not allowed conducting raids inside Pakistan: Qureshi


Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Friday said government had clearly conveyed its viewpoint to Admrial Mullen.

Talking to media persons here on Friday, Qureshi said Mullen had assured us of respecting Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

He said no external forces were allowed to conduct raids inside Pakistan and it was sole responsibility of Pakistani forces to conduct operations.

He said government is striving to increase its friends. “We can not give statements on media reports” said Qureshi, adding he will give his response after going through the pros and cons of the reports.

Qureshi added Pakistan in an ally of America. He further said foreign ministry was trying to present its stance to foreign countries. US drones’ attacks were being condemned at the government level, he added.
