Minister for Foreign Affairs Shah Mehmood Qureshi Saturday said the President Asif Ali Zardari gave a clear overview of foreign policy of Pakistan.
He said the president highlighted clearly that the government will protect the sovereignty of the country and relations with United States and European partners will be built on long-term partnership that is broad-based and mutually beneficial.
He further said, "Our foreign policy will be geared to not only defence of territorial integrity and sovereignty but also promotion of commercial and economic interests."
